Suoi Mu is set in the Tam Diep mountain range, southwest of Hanoi in the Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Nature Reserve. This well-hidden idyllic village is surrounded by lush green mountains covered in jungle and scenic valleys sculpted by terraced rice fields and is home to the Muong ethnic people. Villages of traditional stilt-houses are scattered across the valley, where the people make a living farming.
