Located off the west coast of Mekong Delta, this stunning island is made up of national forest land and beautiful beaches. The majority of beach resorts are located on the palm-lined southwest coast . It is the perfect place for scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming, walking, wildlife tours and total relaxation. To get to this beautiful island you board a 55 minute flight from Ho Chi Minh.

Relax on Sao Beach

A picture-perfect white sand beach, with crystal-clear waters, just a short distance from An Thoi, on the southern tip of the island. There are a few beachfront restaurants, where you can hire a sun lounger or partake in water sports.

Fish Sauce Factory

The Nuoc Mam Hung Thanh fish-sauce distillery, is the largest in Phu Quoc, and just a short walk from the market in Duong Dong. The giant wooden vats, reminiscent of those used for wine, are containing fermenting nuoc mam, filling the air with a memorable aroma. Most of the sauce made here is exported to the mainland for the domestic market, although a good amount is exported.
