Hue is an historic and exotic city
Hue in central Vietnam was the national capital from 1802-1945 and is still known as the 'Imperial City' today. Located on the banks of picturesque Song Huong (Perfume River), Hue is brimming history and exotic cultures. Popular attractions include Tomb of Minh Mang, The Citadel and the royal tombs. After visiting the sites spend time relaxing on the white sand of nearby Lang Co Beach or Thuan An. With its long history, Hue is recognised for its distinctive dishes, spices, and local beer. You can travel to Hue via plane or for the more adventurous, an overnight train from Hanoi a journey of about 700 kilometers.
