An overview of your trip
DAY 1 Fly to Hanoi
Take a scheduled flight from the UK to Hanoi.
- Transport: Airplane
DAY 2 Arrive Hanoi
You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for a two night stay.
DAY 3 Hanoi
Explore Hanoi, spending time at the Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda and the Presidential Palace. Visit the Vietnam History Museum and Hanoi Opera House. Stroll around the Old Quarter and watch a traditional Water Puppet Show.

DAY 4 Hanoi to Halong Bay
Journey to Halong City, and board your boat for the overnight cruise of Halong Bay. Pass stun- ning rock formations, visit the Surprise Cave and Titov Island.

DAY 5 Halong Bay to Hue
After a Tai Chi lesson and breakfast, explore the Luon Cave, and enjoy brunch before the boat docks. Catch the shuttle bus back to Hanoi, and your flight to Hue.

DAY 6 Hue
Cruise along the Perfume River, stopping off at the Thien Mu Pagoda, see the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden City. End the day with some retail therapy at a local market.

DAY 7 Hue to Hoi An
Drive along the dramatic Hai Van Pass to Hoi An. The city is easily explored by foot on a short walking tour.

DAY 8 Hoi An
Day at leisure to explore Hoi An and the local area. Optional extras include a cooking class or a cycle ride.

DAY 9 Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
Morning free. After lunch transfer to the airport stopping at the Marble Mountain and the Cham Museum. Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, where you will meet your guide and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 10 Ho Chi Minh City
Soak up the history of Dong Khoi Street on a walking tour and visit the Reunification Palace. This afternoon discover the Cu Chi Tunnels.

DAY 11 Mekong Delta
At the Mekong Delta, sail along the picturesque Ben Tre River. Visit a brickworks and rice paper workshop, as well as a coconut workshop and bee garden, before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 12 Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok
Catch your flight to Bangkok and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 13 Bangkok Half Day Canal Tour
Enjoy a half-day Canal Tour on a long-tailed boat to the legendary Wat Arun. Continue along the waterways and watch the world pass by.

DAY 14 Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Travel to Kanchanaburi, stopping at the Bridge Over the River Kwai, Death Railway, war cemeteries and the Thailand-Burma Railway Museum.

DAY 15 Erawan Waterfall
Visit the Erawan Waterfall where you can walk all the way to the top, or have a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water of one of the falls many pools.

Drive to Ayutthaya, stopping at Bang Pa In Palace en route.

DAY 17 Fly to UK
