A relaxing seven night beach stay in Bentota, Sri Lanka. An ideal opportunity to de-stress and escape the rigours of life in the UK. You can spend your time at the hotel and the beach, or exploring the area, the choice is yours. Maybe visit a turtle sanctuary, try out some water sports, or perhaps go on a mangrove safari adventure. There are two hotel options available, both with excellent facilities, which will probably be the most difficult decision you have to make.
Note: For stays between 1st August 2019 and 31st January 2020, the Sri Lankan government has relaxed the visa requirements, meaning you can travel there VISA-FREE!

9 day Tour Itinerary
An overview of your trip
DAY 1 UK to Colombo
Depart the UK from London or your local regional airport, on a scheduled flight to Colombo.
- Transport: Airplane
DAY 2 Arrive Bentota
Upon arrival in Colombo, our representative will meet and escort you to your private transfer to your chosen hotel. Check in at either the Avani Bentota Resort, or the Centara Ceysands Resort and Spa, for your seven night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to settle in and acquaint yourself with your new surroundings.
DAY 3 Bentota
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, before your first full day in this relaxing resort. You may wish to explore the variety of water sports available locally, or at the hotel. Or, you may simply wish to relax by the hotel pool, or on the glorious white sand beach.

DAY 4 Bentota
Following breakfast, why not discover the local natural wonders on a mangrove safari on the Madu Ganga River. See how many different species of bird, plants and other wildlife you can spot.

DAY 5 Bentota
Today, after breakfast, you could visit the Brief Garden. A beautifully designed 5-acre property, once owned by renowned local artist Bevis Bawa. Spend time strolling around the luscious gardens, admiring the statues that are dotted about.

DAY 6 Bentota
Why not visit Kande Viharaya, a nearby temple and centre for Buddhist education in Sri Lanka. Perhaps spend the day in Galle, with it’s impressive fort and lighthouse, before returning to Bentota for the night.

DAY 7 Bentota
A full day at leisure to explore the delights of Bentota.

DAY 8 Bentota
Make the most of your final day in this relaxing beach resort, treating yourself to some therapies at the hotel spa, swimming in the sea, or perhaps visit the local turtle sanctuary.

DAY 9 Fly to the UK
Following breakfast, check out of the hotel, and take your private transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
