The fishing village of Wadduwa is on the western coast around 33km south of Colombo and is home to some of the country’s best golden sand beaches. Wadduwa has a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere, is good for water sports and has a few bars, restaurants and boutiques. Best for beach stays from October to April.
