4 day Tour Itinerary
An overview of your trip
DAY 1 Beppu
On arrival in Beppu, make your way to your overnight accommodation (Hotel Shiragiku) or similar and check in. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Beppu.
DAY 2 Takachiho
After breakfast, make your way to the car rental office and pick up your chosen hire car. From there, travel to Takachiho which is approximately 2 hours 30 mins drive. Discover the Takachiho Shrine (1hour performance), Takachino Gorge (Boat tickets reserved), Takachiho Kagura where you will be able to watch the Traditional Dance (Tickets reserved).
Accommodation is in Takachino for overnight stay.

DAY 3 Mount Aso
After breakfast, drive through Kusasenri with its wonderful scenery and you are able to park freely then drive to Mount Aso, the largest active volcano in Japan.
Accomodation is in Mount Aso for your overnight stay.

DAY 4 Kumamoto
After breakfast, drive to Kumamoto. Visit the hilltop Kumamoto Castle, located in Chuo-Ku. Drop off the car at the Car Hire Office.
