An overview of your trip
DAY 1 Arrive Kyoto
On arrival at the airport in Osaka, you will be met and shown to the shuttle bus transfer to the New Miyako Hotel to check in. The rest of the day is at leisure, to relax or explore the local area. You may wish to dine in one of the hotel’s many restaurants, or have a relaxing drink at the hotel bar.
DAY 2 Kyoto Full Day Tour
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before joining your Kyoto Day Tour. This comprehensive tour visits the city’s main sites, including the impressive Nijo Castle, the ‘Golden’ Kinkakuji Temple where the top two floors are covered in gold leaf, and the majestic Kyoto Imperial Palace, or the ancient Kitano-tenmangu Shrine. After a lunch of Japanese tasty treats, continue to the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine with it’s 5,000 torii gates, the impressive Sanjusangendo Temple and the celebrated Kiyomizu-dera Temple

DAY 3 Kyoto
Day at leisure to explore Kyoto. Suggested tours include Real Kyoto Back Street Guided Cycling Tour, Tea Ceremony & Ginkau-ji Temple Walking Tour, Sagano Bamboo Grove and Arashiyama Walking Tour.

DAY 4 Depart
Day at leisure until your transfer to the airport by shuttle bus for your onward journey.
