Experience the iconic sites in Tokyo, then overnight in a traditional hot spring with dinner included. Then take the Bullet train to Nagoya to watch the Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix. End your holiday by spending time in the cultural capital, Kyoto, where you will have dinner with Maiko (apprentice Geisha).

12 day Tour Itinerary
An overview of your trip
DAY 1 UK to Tokyo
Depart from your regional UK airport for your flight to Tokyo.
- Transport: Airplane
DAY 2 Arrive Tokyo
Arrive at Narita International Airport. You will be welcomed by our representative who will assist you to board your transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
DAY 3 Tokyo Half Day Tour
Half day private tour with an English speaking guide. Your guide will meet you and escort you to visit Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace and Ginza.

DAY 4 Tokyo
Day at leisure. Optional day tours include Tsukiji Outer Fish Market and Sushi Workshop, Sumo Experience & Chanko Lunch and River Cruise.

DAY 5 Tokyo to Hakone
After breakfast make your way to Tokyo station. Using your Japan Rail (JR) Pass take the bullet train to Odawara station Hakone. On arrival take the shuttle bus to your Ryokan.
With your Hakone 2-Day Free Pass you can freely get on and off the following as often as needed: Hakone Tozan Bus (designated zones), Hakone Tozan Train, Hakone Tozan Cable Car, Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus (designates zones), Hakone Ropeway, Numazu Tozan Tokai Bus (designated zones), Hakone Sightseeing Cruise and ‘Kanko Shisetsu-Meguri’ Bus.

DAY 6 Hakone to Nagoya
After breakfast take the Bullet train to Nagoya. On arrival you will be met and assisted with transfers to your hotel (taxi payable locally)

DAY 7 Qualifying
Take the train to the Suzuka Circuit for qualifying. Return back to your hotel.

DAY 8 Japanese Grand Prix
Take the train to the Suzuka Circuit for the Japanese Grand Prix. Return back to your hotel.

DAY 9 Nagoya to Kyoto
After breakfast catch the Bullet train to Kyoto. On arrival make the short walk to your hotel

DAY 10 Kyoto Half Day Tour and Evening Dinner with Maiko
Half day private tour with an English speaking guide. Your guide will escort you around Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and Kyoto Imperial Palace (or Kitano Tenmangu Shrine). In the evening enjoy dinner with a Maiko (apprentice Geisha).

DAY 11 Kyoto
Day at leisure to explore Kyoto. Optional excursions include Hiroshima & Miyajima, Fushimi & Uji Morning Tour and Tea Ceremony, Fushimi Inari and Sake Tasting, Sagano Bamboo Grove and Arashiyama Walking Tour.

DAY 12 Kyoto to UK
Transfer to Osaka airport for your flight to the UK journey.
