Wulingyuan Scenic Area is comprised of several national parks, the most famous of which is Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a 243 square mile park filled with 3,000 stunning karst pillars of sandstone, covered with sub-tropical rainforest. The Hallelujah Mountains in the film Avatar were inspired by Heavenly Pillar in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

5 day Tour Itinerary
An overview of your trip
DAY 1 Arrive Zhangjiajie
Upon arrival you will be met by your guide. Visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and enjoy an exhilarating walk on the world’s highest and longest glass bridge. Transfer to your hotel.
DAY 2 Zhangjiajie
Transfer to the Wulinyuan scenic area and take the Bailong Elevator 326 metres to the top of Yuanjiajie, for spectacular views of the Sandstone Peak Forest. Ascend Tianzi Mountain by cable car offering incredible views of dramatic rock formations, cliffs and misty clouds.

DAY 3 Zhangjiajie
Today visit Tianmen Mountain and take the world’s longest cable car to the top. Take a daring walk along the glass walkway, protruding from the cliff-face! Descend the mountain and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 4 Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang
Head to the ancient city of Fenghuang, located beside the beautiful Tuo River. It is ancient, quiet, secluded and home to historical legends.
