Tibet
7 day Tour Itinerary
An overview of your trip
DAY 1 To Lhasa
Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2 Lhasa
Tour the 13-story Potala Palace,winter home of the Dalai Lama since the 7th century. Later, visit 1,300-year-old Jokhang Temple and explore the maze-like Barkhor Market.

DAY 3 Lhasa
See Norbulingka, the Dalai Lama’s summer palace, and stroll through its parkland. This afternoon visit Sera Monastery, an active temple with monks in training.

DAY 4 Lhasa – Gyantse
Transfer to Gyantse, on the way visit Yamdrok Lake and the Palkhor Monastery – a mixture of Chinese, Tibetan and Nepali architecture.
- Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Transport: Drive
DAY 5 Gyantse – Shigatse
Transfer to Shigatse, upon arrival visit the Tashi Lhumpo Monastery, once having over 4,000 monks in attendance.

- Transport: Drive
DAY 6 Shigatse – Lhasa
Transfer back to Lhasa, day at leisure.

DAY 7 Lhasa and onward journey
