This Panda add-on leads you to Chengdu, in the heart of Sichuan – the largest province in China. Located in the south west, it is known for breathtaking forests, mountain scenery, and mouth-watering cuisines and is the natural habitat of the Giant Pandas. Sichuan is also blessed with several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Based in Chengdu you can visit the Leshan Buddha and Giant Pandas.

An overview of your trip
DAY 1 To Chengdu
Upon arrival in Chengdu, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the evening enjoy a traditional Sichuan Welcome Dinner.

DAY 2 Chengdu
A full day excursion to the magnificent Leshan Buddha, standing at 71 metres tall, it’s one of the world’s largest Buddha statues.

DAY 3 Chengdu
After breakfast, an early start to visit the Giant Pandas at the Breeding Centre. This is a wonderful opportunity to see these beautiful animals in their home environment. The rest of the day is free for leisure. You may take a stroll down to Jinli Street, famed for its Qing Dynasty architecture. It is a great place to pick up souvenirs such as snacks, embroidery, folk handicrafts and calligraphy. You may even catch a performance of Sichuan Opera.
