Siem Reap is widely renowned as the gateway to Angkor Wat, the millennium-old temple ruins of the Khmer Empire. Set on the Siem Reap River, this small city has plenty of sightseeing opportunities such as well-preserved colonial buildings, unique museums, traditional markets, cultural performances, and verdant parks. The vast Angkor site consists of the main temple, Angor Wat, as well as others such as Angkor Thom, the Bayon and Ta Prohm – one of the most atmospheric as it is entwined with strangler fig trees.

An overview of your trip
DAY 1 Arrive Siem Reap
Upon arrival at the airport in Siem Reap, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax, or explore the local area.
DAY 2 Siem Reap
Following breakfast, join a sight-seeing tour starting at the impressive South Gate of Angkor Thom, before moving on to discover the atmospheric Bayon, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Continue on to Ta Prohm and visit the magnificent Angkor Wat, built in the early 12th century, and enjoy the picture-perfect sunset view from Pre Rup.

DAY 3 Siem Reap
Today is at leisure to relax, or perhaps take an optional half-day tour to Tonle Sap Lake.
