Why Siem Reap?

For Cambodia's famous temples of Angkor

Siem Reap is the gateway to Cambodia's most famous and important landmark; the Temples of Angkor. These iconic temples are located just a few miles north of Siem Reap. The scale of the temple complex is truly remarkable and a must-see for all visitors. Built in the first half of the 12th century, Angkor Wat is where you will discover the fascinating history of the Khmer Empire. Ta Prohm is a unique and atmospheric temple that has largely been left to the clutches of the lush jungle with huge trees towering above the ruins. These remarkable archaeological sites provide you with plenty to do and see, with a minimum stay of 2-3 nights recommended to get the most out of your visit.
