Exploring Asuka Village: Japan's Birthplace

Asuka Village, nestled in a picturesque setting, preserves the original scenery of Japan. This quaint locale witnessed the birth of Prince Shotoku, an ancient superstar, and played a pivotal role in the inception of Japan’s first era name, Taika. The Taika Reform, a transformative period in Japan’s history, was triggered by events that unfolded in Asuka. Often referred to as “the place where Japan began,” Asuka holds the origins of the titles “Emperor” and the name of the country, “Japan,” both born during the Asuka period.

Cycling Through Ancient Tombs and Historical Marvels

The cycling tour takes you on a journey shrouded in mystery, exploring ancient tombs and historical sites that have stood the test of time. Your guide will unravel the tales of how Asuka became the cradle of Japan, offering a unique opportunity to feel the ancient romance that permeates every corner of this enchanting village.
